Attach an .ics calendar
Choose the notifications that should receive calendar attachments in the SaveTheDate settings. Pro adds an .ics file alongside any existing attachments. Test the selected notification with a real submission and open the attachment in your target calendar application.
Calendar alarms and organizers
Organizer details and DISPLAY alarms are included in .ics files. An alarm is a calendar reminder, not a scheduled reminder email. Calendar-provider URLs support different fields, and each calendar application controls how it handles imports and updates.
Queued email requires extra setup
Synchronous email attachments use temporary files. If another plugin queues email, verify its attachment handling before relying on delivery. Explicit queued delivery requires a tested queue adapter and persistent private storage outside the document root. Pro does not bundle a third-party queue adapter.
Unknown queues must copy temporary attachments before returning. Pending private queue files survive deactivation and uninstall; keep their storage until the queued jobs have consumed them.
Check delivery
Confirm the correct notification is selected, the event is valid and your site can send email. If your mailer uses a queue, test a delayed delivery as well as an immediate one. Avoid sharing private entry details when contacting support.
